Got Milk?

Nowadays I start drinking a glass of milk before bed. By just looking at the white color of the milk, and drinking it, I feel very good inside out. Firstly, it reminds me that I am healthy. Secondly, I can afford to buy milk to put in my fridge. Finally, I am able to just enjoy the taste of it knowing that it will provide me with vitamins that my body needs. Having these said, I am truly thankful for what I got to enjoy at this moment.

Small things in our life, it might appear too tiny that we do not know its value or give its credit. It’s like the air that we breathe everyday, the water that we drink everyday, etc. but we most of the time fail to be thankful for those small things, for we think that they are “always” there for us, and thus, we take them for granted.

This is just a thought for you to think and hopefully you will show more gratitude towards what you have, what you can afford, and what has been provided to you for free.

Weekend for me usually is an "award" day. I most of the time work out during the week and sometime on the weekend, but sometimes I also like to treat myself by spoiling myself with greesy food or American junk food. The nice thing about the weekend is that I can sleep in. The photos say it all. This reminds me of a quote "Party like a rockstar and sleep like a baby."

Hope you enjoy your weekend!

I remember when I was in Thailand for vacation, and went to a small restaurant. That time, I didn't know what to order, but the owner recommended this meal. After that, I just fell in love with it. Therefore,  I name this one “The heart that truly loves never forgets.”

Indeed, it's not about just food or thing, but if we love or care for someone, it will be hard to forget him/her and we always find ourselves remembering all the things that he/she has to say. Don't say too quick that you love someone in whichever way when you actually never pay much attention to him or her. Say what you mean and mean what you say! Don't be a love hypocrite.

This is a pretty easy dish to make:
  • Chopped string beans
  • Pork/Beef Sausage
  • Chopped garlic
  • Chilli Paste
  • Olive Oil
  • Oriental stir fry sauce

Rainbow Deep Down

I made this dinner last night, and its name is based on a quote "When you have a rainbow deep down in your heart, your smile will shine bright. You know you're a part of that colorful, magical, feeling you'll find, when you have a rainbow inside." - Unknown.

The ingredients of this meal are:
  • Beef
  • Mango
  • Pineapple
  • Bell peppers

Today is Friday, I was so enthusiastic to make a nice dinner with a sense of creativity. I name this meal after a quote “Enthusiasm is excitement with inspiration, motivation, and a pinch of creativity.” I am sure you all are looking for the weekend as well.

I really like this quote. Everyday, if we tend to be a little bit more creative to make our days a little bit more productive, then we will be more happy and less boredom. Let’s look at the ingredients in this meal.

  • Ramen noodle (2 packs)
  • Sliced pork
  • Pork meatballs
  • Tomatoes
  • Seafood broth
  • Fish sauce
  • Sugar
  • Lemon
On the side was the chilli sauce that I made. The ingredients in it are:
  • Chilli sauce
  • Chilli paste
  • Sugar
  • Chopped garlic
  • Lemon
T.G.I.F = Thanks God It's Friday! Be creative - cook a unique meal, create something, do something productive, compose a lyric and song, write something that expresses yourself, anything that inspires and motivates your enthusiasm.

Tonight’s dinner is an Italian style, but Pheng-made food ;) I name this food as “When odds are one in a million, be that one.” The name speaks for its own. I did not know what I was doing. I was just hungry and therefore, I just made and mixed something easy and Walla!

This food consists of:

  • Farfalle Pasta
  • Spaghetti Pasta
  • Garlic Shrimp fried
  • Spinach
  • Hot chilli sauce
Remember, no matter how other people think of your odd side, it is that side that defines who you are. Don't care too much about what they think. Embrace your odd and be who you really are.

Tonight, I made a Cambodian style food for my dinner. I name it "The Grass Is Always Greener on the Other Side of the Fence." I hope that you will feel the same way, and do not give up on things easily. There's always a better plan for you, and things happened for a reason.

I first mixed black pepper, salt, and sugar together, then I squeezed lemon on that mixture. Stir fried the meats with chopped garlic to put on the vegetables, and ate with rice. There are:
  • Spinanch
  • Green tomatoes
  • Cucumbers
  • Green peppers
  • Chicken
  • Pork
